ZERO POINT, ALMORA

Dedicated to the famous Hindu monk Swami Vivekanand, the place was visited by him and he also stayed here while his trip to the Great Himalayas. His library is also very close to the picturesque point, one of the major attractions of the tourists.
This park is approximately 3 kms away from ALmora, also one of the most visited places by the tourists. You can spot deer, black bear and leopard here in the lush green wilderness of pine trees.
KATARMAL SUN TEMPLE
Katarmal is the second most important Sun temple according to Hindu mythology. Tis 800 years old temple comprises of 45 smaller shrines and one big temple. You will find idols of Lakshmi Narayana, Shiva Parvati here in the temple. If you are in the town with your family, then seeking blessing would be a wonderful idea.
