Road travel is a common way to reach Auli. Buses and taxis are accessible from major cities like Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradun, and even Delhi. The route from Rishikesh or Haridwar usually involves a road journey via Joshimath. Auli is around 16 kilometers from Joshimath, and from there, one can take a cable car or a local taxi to reach the hill station.
