Chopta Region which constitutes of Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek, Devariyatal Trek is an extremely picturesque hill station with majestic Himalayan views, sprawling lush green meadows, beautiful jungles with hundreds of bird’s species. Though you will be reaching trekking to an altitude of 4000 mts, but the trek is easy and suitable for beginners. This trek boasts stunning views of various Himalayan peaks namely Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and Kedarnath.
Day to Day Itinerary
DAY 00: DELHI - CHOPTA
The journey to the paradise starts from Delhi. Chopta is 450 km away from Delhi and takes approximately 12-14 hours to reach. Start overnight journey to Chopta from Delhi.
DAY 01: CHOPTA ARRIVAL
Arrival at Chopta and check in to camps. You can go around the campsite and explore the trails around. We advise our travellers to get proper rest before we get up, close and personal with Chandrashila also known lovingly as the Moon peak the following day.
DAY 02: CHOPTA – TUNGNATH – CHANDRASHILLA – CHOPTA
After Breakfast, trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila (Trail snacks during trek). The trek from Chopta to Tungnath is approximately 3.5 km in distance and a further ascend of 1 km steep ascend leads to the summit of Chandrashila. It normally takes around 3 hours to reach the Tungnath temple from Chopta and another 1 hour to reach the Chandrashila summit from the temple. Return back to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03: CHOPTA - DELHI
Tour Conclude - In morning, start your return journey to Delhi with your heart and soul full. You would reach Delhi by midnight the following day.
