Chopta Region which constitutes of Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek, Devariyatal Trek is an extremely picturesque hill station with majestic Himalayan views, sprawling lush green meadows, beautiful jungles with hundreds of bird’s species. Though you will be reaching trekking to an altitude of 4000 mts, but the trek is easy and suitable for beginners. This trek boasts stunning views of various Himalayan peaks namely Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and Kedarnath.
Day to Day Itinerary
DAY 01: HARIDWAR – CHOPTA (187KMS/05 TO 06HRS)
Arrive in Haridwar and then drive towards Chopta. On arrival check in to the camps. Rest day at leisure, you're free to explore nearby places and views in Chopta. Get back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 02: CHOPTA - TUNGNATH - CHANDRASHILLA - CHOPTA
After Breakfast, trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila (Trail snacks during trek). The trek from Chopta to Tungnath is approximately 3.5 km in distance and a further ascend of 1 km steep ascend leads to the summit of Chandrashila. It normally takes around 3 hours to reach the Tungnath temple from Chopta and another 1 hour to reach the Chandrashila summit from the temple. Return back to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03: CHOPTA - HARIDWAR DROP
Tour Conclude - In morning, start your return journey to Haridwar with your heart and soul full. Drop at Haridwar.
